Finding funds for a Challenger Learning Center Mission

Outlined below are several great ideas for raising the necessary funds to send your students on a CLC SeCT mission.

Ask your schools' parent organizations/boosters
If they would like to visit the Center, please call the Center to make arrangements.

Ask your local community clubs
We have been traveling around the state of Connecticut presenting to community clubs such as Rotary, Kiwanis, and Lions. We have been enthusiastically received by every group and they are eager to assist their local schools with the cost of a mission or transportation to that mission. We can help you make these connections. Just call the Challenger Center to ask if we've presented to a club near you or to let us know if there's a specific club you'd like us to contact.

Ask local businesses
Wal-Mart gives teachers money for classroom projects at the beginning of each year. It's easy to apply. Best Buy, Target and Circuit City also give teachers grant money. Check with your local store for more information.
